Our team is experienced in a number of areas, from mass transit seating to commercial hospitality products. At Designs In Upholstery, we have a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality custom upholstery services. Meet our founder and leader, Steve Doro. Steve brings years of experience to the table, having worked in various roles in the upholstery industry.
Work Experience
10+ Years
Artcraft
He started out developing mass transit and airline seating for Artcraft working on projects like the Long Island Railroad and Midwest Express Airlines including the Milwaukee Bucks charter plane.
1999-2005
Milsco Manufacturing
He moved on to serve as manufacturing engineering manager for soft goods at Milsco MFG overseeing the O.E.M, C.V.O. and Parts and Accessories, seats and saddlebags for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
2005-2018
Nemschoff
Working for Nemschoff he oversaw the R&D and engineering for the upholstery development and manufacturing operations.
